History
Since our start in July 2020, we’ve accelerated 58 companies who have gone on to raise more than $30 million in VC funding from top-tier investors including Greylock, Contrary Capital, Alexis Ohanian, Forerunner Ventures, CEOs of Doordash/Product Hunt/Loom/KAYAK, and more. Others have gone on to participate in YCombinator, Techstars, and 500 Startups, as well as become Thiel Fellows and make it onto the Forbes 30 Under 30 List. We've also given out more than $300k in non-dilutive funding to our founders.
Criteria for our program
👉🏿 At least 1 cofounder in school (undergrad or grad), you recently dropped out, or you recently graduated (1-4 years out of school)
👉🏾 At least 1 cofounder who identifies as a woman, nonbinary individual, Black, Indigenous, LatinX, or LGBTQIA+ (we'd prefer at least 50% of the founding team to be underrepresented)
👉🏽 You're past the idea stage (you have a prototype or MVP, completed user validation, and have started to build out your team). You are working on a for-profit business (no non-profits).
👉🏼 You're committed to your venture and are passionate about what you're building. We love dedicated & scrappy teams!
Envision does NOT take any equity in the startups that we accept. We are an entirely non-dilutive program.
What do we look for in companies/teams that we accept?
We're looking for founders who are excited to embrace pivots, iterate on feedback, and stretch the bounds of capability. We don't look for a certain "stage" of company, and love to support builders at all stages from nontraditional backgrounds!
You get out of Envision what you put into it, and you'll really grow if you invest the time into our community and fully commit to embracing our resources (while contributing back yourself!).
