INTRODUCTION:
Hey Everyone, thank you so much for using this Library! My name is James Rogers and I am on the Envision Team. I built this library and am going to describe some ideas as to how you can use it and my long term vision!
ENVISION ACCELERATOR RESOURCE LIBRARY:
The Envision Accelerator was created by a diverse group of students as a platform to democratize access to capital and resources to founders who are often underestimated. Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and Womxn founders deserve a fair opportunity to innovate and to have their ideas funded. While working on this accelerator, I realized that many founders who applied had a variety of unanswered questions and that there was not a proper entrepreneurial library to help them on their ventures. That problem led to the development of this library (a collection of the best books, blogs, twitter accounts, and overall resources the internet offers).
LONG-TERM LIBRARY VISION:
I am yet to see any library like this and feel that everyone deserves access. Everyone who applies to Envision has been sent this, it will posted on the Envision website, and will always be free to the public. Please share with any founder, friend, entrepreneurship program, groupchat, etc. that you think would benefit from this. I envision this library being in use for a long time and to do so I believe it should be a living document. What I mean by that is that if any user finds a great entrepreneurial resource, great program, has any feedback, or any other meaningful addition to the library please send it to us! There will be a google form and collaboration is heavily encouraged! This will be updated as frequently as possible! Also as Envision grows, we will post any original content we create to this library to make sure we are not only curators of great content but, also contributors!
